There may be costs for tolls, ferries, refueling and possibly extra km when we renting a car. We therefore block a deposit on the payment card which corresponds to the estimated rental amount plus 20% (min. NOK 1000). The amount does not go out of account. This will happen 2-3 days after the end of the rental, and the deposit will be canceled at the same time. We experience that some customers unfortunately damage the car they rent. This applies in particular to the larger vans, where length and height are miscalculated by those who have no experience with this type of car. If you have not agreed on a reduced deductible on insurance when you ordered the car, you can consider whether this should be included when it is picked up. Please note that in many places there is photo-registered parking. If this is not paid in the parking meter or with an app on site, it will be sent to us. This entails considerable extra work and we therefore find ourselves having to add a processing fee of NOK 125 to invoice this to our customers. Other fines will be added a processing fee of NOK 250. When the rental agreement is signed, the terms on the back of the agreement and form of damage to the car are approved upon delivery. You are responsible for photographing damage that has not been documented before the car is used.
