Can I pick up and drop off the car outside of business hours?

es, you can both pick up and drop off your rental car outside of our regular hours using our Sharebox solution. Sharebox is an electronic key cabinet that allows you to access the key at any time of day or night.

The Sharebox key machine is located to the left of our office door at Ulsmågvegen 28, 5224 Nesttun.

How Sharebox Works

If you have arranged to use Sharebox when reserving your rental car, the process is as follows:

  • Before the rental period begins, you will receive an SMS from FrontGo/Bergen Bilutleie with a link for card payment. You must pay through this link well in advance of us placing the key in the machine.
  • A couple of hours before your rental starts, you'll receive another SMS with a link to open the Sharebox.
  • When you are at the Sharebox cabinet, click on the link and enter the three-digit location code (LocationID) that is visible on the machine.
  • A compartment on the Sharebox will open automatically, and the car key will be available.
  • Remember to close the compartment after you have taken out the key.
Can anyone other than myself pick up the car I ordered?

Tenant (the one who has booked and is on the contract) normally has to be present at the pick-up to sign the agreement and show identification. If not, the tenant must send us identification and indicate who will be the driver.

How long should I expect to pick up the car?

The handout itself normally goes quickly, about 5-10 minutes, if all the paperwork is ready and pre-booking on your payment card is arranged. We'll send this to you the day before rent.

What documents do I need to have with me when I pick up the car?

You must have a valid driver's license and a credit card for deposit/payment. Please also bring your booking confirmation.

Do you pick up customers at the Nesttun city rail stop? Are there other places you offer pickup?

Yes, we can pick you up at the Nesttun city rail stop on request. Contact us if you need pickup elsewhere and we will see what we can get.

Is it possible to deliver the rental car after opening hours?

Yes, on request, you can pick up your rental car at any time of the day using our key machine. Paying and identification must be arranged in advance.

Does your insurance cover roadside assistance?

Roadside assistance in the event of a technical fault is normally included. In the event of self-inflicted events (e.g. out of fuel, unlocked key), costs may be incurred.

What happens if the vehicle is returned before the agreed time?

If there is a need to return the vehicle before the agreed time, we are open to adjust this after a short prior agreement. This may also affect any discounts and agreements made.
